I do not know about you, but when it comes from gifts I always put my entire attention and imagination to work to gather around some thoughts before making the perfect gifts every time. Christmas holidays are probably the time many dislike most because you have to find the right gift for everyone and make the best out of each one. Making sure that everybody is pleased with the gifts can be quite an ordeal. However, I like it because I get to see people happy because of me and also because I receive presents. I have a certain appeal to buying funny gifts; I find quite ok and because it's hard to go wrong with such a gift that always get you at least a smile as result. Gifts for girls are divided into several categories. The first category is “ not quite ”; in this section you get any form of kitsch gifts, like teddy bears that can make a girl exclaim ” oooh, how cute it is! “, or watches, bracelets, perfumes or small ceramic figurines ( these last ones would probably go ok with grandma and grandpa' ). There are things that are mostly aesthetic: bags that she can’t fit anything in or ” winter “ shoes which are as waterproof as house slippers, and so on.

The category ” just right ” includes anything that is ” handmade ” that is not very awkward like albums, photo frames or bracelets; these three are things ou just don’t use as presents. Leaving aside all the previous categories, there are those gifts with the inscriptions that we can buy at any print shop. As December is the ” gifts month “, everyone can go for any of the numerous concerts during this month. Some tickets to a concert do not sound that bad as a gift. Well you gave to think of what kind of concert your gifted would like to go to. There are a lot people saying that the ” intention matters ” but if you follow that thought you might end up with a soap and a pair of socks as a gift. That’s not good; not good at all. I'm not saying you go buy expensive gifts, I was never the type to buy expensive stuff, I always preferred something funny and preferably cheap. That is always the best recipe.
