Citadel Gift Shop

For this article we’ll visit the state of South Carolina, United States of America and the city of Charleston. But not the city itself concerns us, but The Citadel Military College of South Carolina (or simply known as The Citadel). It is a state supported college and one of the just six senior military colleges from the United States of America. It has 14 academic departments which are divided into 5 schools that are offering to the students 20 majors and 25 minors. The Citadel was established in 1842 and today has about 3,300 students and an endowment of 166,8 million dollars. From these students about 2,100 are cadets, 100 are non-cadets, and about 1,120 are postgraduates civilians. The campus has an area of 300 acres (1,2 km²) and the official colors are blue and white…while the mascots are: Spike, General and Boo V.



The university is most of all known for its undergraduate Corps of Cadets military program for both men and women. This program combines academics, military discipline and also physical challenges. Another program offered by the college is the “2+2 program” that needs 2 years at the Trident Technical College and 2 years at the Citadel, and after this program they can get a degree in business, civil engineering or electrical engineering.

For example at the “coffee mugs” category you can find  so many models of mugs, all with the Citadel university’s symbol, writing or other things related to it. And the prices are not so big either, and most of the mugs have a price of around 8 dollars.
