This community has quite a good history, and it began to develop in 1868, when it had the initial name – Noble. In 1869 the community also received a post office, and it was known by the name Spencer Creek. And finally in 1892 it got the name Alden, after the name of William Alden Smith, who was an official at the railway company that just got in the city. In time this man had became a US senator from Michigan. Even though it is a small community, of course it has all the things you might need such as: hospitals, schools, restaurants, stores and so on.
