The action of this cartoon takes place in Lost Rivera Delta, in South America. The story begin when Dr Indiana Jones find an old Indian temple full or ancient artifacts. The most important artifact of all is the Mara artifact who offers to the men who find it one of the three gifts: earthly riches, eternal youth or vision of the future. This cartoon has gathered many fans and a lot of money for Disney Company. That is way they open this park where you can find many gifts shops with all kind of things inspired from the cartoon Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the forbidden eye. Another Indiana Jones park with many gifts shops was opened in Japan in 4 of September 2001. This park is called Indiana Jones Adventure: The Temple of the Crystal Skull. The story of The Temple of the Crystal Skull is similar with the story of the Forbidden Eye, but this time Dr. Indiana Jones is looking for the Fountain of youth in an Aztec temple not an Indian Temple. The temple is guarded by the Crystal Skull. The design of this park is totally different that the one from California, it has a different theme.
