A thread of history and knowledge

It all began with a concept laid out in 1975 by Agnes Coyle, Jeanne Dougherty and Karin Vogeler who sought a way of providing a stable market due to increasing number of people which tried to sell their crafts. In 1997 when the new center opened it inclued a small shop named “Tausigniavat” (which translates to “The people’s shopping place”)
