Universal Studios’ Cartooniversal, Nickelodeon And Jurassic Outfitters

The Universal Studios offer a lot of shopping opportunities for shopaholics and for those who want to return home with a lot of souvenirs. Many of these shops will welcome you with a lot of character merchandise, such as cartoon themed merchandise. You can find many shops and carts loaded with different toys inspired from the cartoon industry, clothes, or various gadgets meant to remember you the beloved cartoon characters.

Personally, I like The Simpsons cartoon the most, and I found there a lot of objects and toys that accurately embodied this cartoon’s characters. You will also be able to find many other cartoon characters like Shrek or Sponge Bob. Many articles related to the film industry will also be available at the Universal Studio Park, since it is involved in movie making. Further on, I will present a selection of shops at your disposal from where you can buy different cartoon toys and other souvenirs.

The “Nickelodeon Stuff” shop offers many articles the kids would love if their favorite cartoon is Nickelodeon. The most appreciated character from this cartoon is by far Sponge Bob Squarepants, closely followed by Dora the Explorer. But any child would be happy to posses a toy from this store, probably any toy you would buy for them. In the bellow picture you will see the Dora dolls available at the “Nickelodeon Stuff” shop. You can see these are absolutely lovely.

Another cartoon character themed store is “Cartooniversal”, where you can buy many toys and other articles your kids would love. “Cartooniversal” shop will also offer you Sponge Bob-themed articles. The Sponge-Bob items can be seen even from the vendors of the “Cartooniversal” shop. You can also find the Shrek characters (Shrek and Fiona dolls) in this store, and many others.

At the “Tram Central” store offers objects related to the unique rides and attractions from the Universal Studios theme park. The “Tram Central” was placed at the entry of the Universal Studios tram tours. For example, you can buy some “director’s slates” to place in your room, even if we don’t know exactly what you can use them for. But this store can also offer many practical articles, unlike other stores: mugs, clothing, and refrigerator magnets.

At the “Jurassic Outfitters” store you will find towels printed with the Jurassic themes, and educational items. T-shirts are also a good gift you can find in the “Jurassic Outfitters”. This shop is placed right at the end of your boat trip. It is a nice shop to be visited, together with the “T-2Gear & Supplies” store placed at the exit of the Terminator 2—3D attraction, and the “Tomb Treasures”, outside the “Revenge of the Mummy” roller coaster.

To complete your ride through the Universal Studios shops, you must also pay a visit to the Hollywood Shop that can provide you with that special T-shirt that shows everyone where you’ve been to. There are also many movie-themed articles here as well. Other information about shopping at the Universal Studios you can find at this adress.

United States Gift Shops

Where to begin when we wish to talk about the United States of America? It is so difficult, almost impossible to talk about this great nation, especially since almost everything there is to be known is already known. Probably, the United States of America are these days the most renowned state everywhere in the world.

United States have a very diverse and rich history. From the most ancient times, these places were inhabited by many Native American nations. They had, and still have, a very rich culture and spirituality, although not so complex as the European culture, or the Asian one.

If we are to believe the Mormons, which are a distinct part of the American heritage, the territory of what we know now as the United States of America was populated with some of the tribes of Israel, which left the Middle East long before Christ and settled down on American ground. Mormons presume that Christ himself set foot on American territory between resurrection and ascension.

I don’t know about Jesus, but the Vikings visited the American continent around 1000 AD, in an Islandic expedition that discovered the region they called Vineland, on the East Coast. Their influence is still enduring to these days in some of the American states.

Europeans came to the American continent because they wanted a new life. They were not satisfied with the lives they were leading in Europe. Some were persecuted for religious reasons, some were persecuted for their ethnicity, and other were poor and wanted a fresh start. This mentality endured through ages and thus America became the land of all opportunities.

America is run by a few ideas: The Manifest Destiny, which is a project of a great nation under God; the American dream, the drive of the great national project, because USA’s greatness is the sum of the personal successes of their citizens; the pursuit of happiness, the means to achieve the American dreams.

Which are the most representative gifts we may purchase in the United States? Let’s see. There is a very nice gift we may purchase in the gift shops that shows the famous Statue of Liberty. There are stores specialized in selling replicas of the statue.

There are gifts that may be purchased at the White House gift shops. There are a lot of great things that we can take there. They are about the presidents, the Oval Office, the museums there, and so on. If you want a gift with the current president of the US, Barack Obama, I can surely recommend you a T-shirt with a logo on it that says “Yes, we did” as a reply to the presidential slogan “Yes we can” used by Barack Obama to win the elections.

Mount Fuji And Shopping

There is a Japanese popular phrase that says “Anybody would be a fool not to climb Mount Fuji once, but a fool to do so twice”. Also, we heard that doing this trip by buss isn’t a very good idea either.

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, measuring 3,776 m. Also, this mountain is part of the “Three Holly Mountains” of Japan, which are Mount Fuji, Mount Haku, and Mount Tate. However holly this mountain is told to be, you can always find shopping corners mounting it.

Mount Fuji can be seen in many photos having a symmetrical cone, which attracts many tourists every year. This cone is in fact an active volcano, a subject that was very exploited by the local artists in their works. Also, the literature talked about the Mount Fuji in its chapters, thus being known all over the world throughout the ages.

It is said that ancient samurais were exercising their techniques at the base of this mountain, somewhere near the actual city Gotemba. Also, women were forbidden to climb this mountain in the ancient times until the Meji Era. The forst person who attempted to climb the Mount Fuji was an anonymous monk who went in his expedition in 663. After many years, in 1860, the first foreigner managed to climb the mountain, named Sir Rutherford Alcock. He climbed the Mount Fuji in eight hours and descended in three.

Nowadays, Mount Fuji is an overrated destination for mount climbers and tourism as well. It is a symbol of the Japan’s geography because of its appearance and highness, and due to its religious importance as well.

There is a forest at the base of the mountain, which is called Aokigahara. About this forest tales were made saying that it shelters demons, ghosts, and haunting goblins. A not so good example of this forest is that it represents the second most popular suicide place after San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. There are a number of about 30 suicides committed every year in this forest, reaching the pick of 80 cases of this type in 2002.

There is a nearby airport, which is the international Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport opened in June 2009. It is placed at 80 kilometres far from Mount Fuji.  Of course, for those who want to climb the mountain by foot, there is a recommended time period in which they could do that, that is between 1 July and 27 August. We don’t recommend climbing it by bus, because it can prove to be very inconvenient and even more exhausting than by foot. There are five stations that start running since the 1st of July. The October to May period is not recommended for climbing the Mount Fuji, because the weather conditions are not that good, and many deaths were registered there along the years in this period. There are eight peaks to be visited, which can be visited by foot. The highest peak is in the place of the Mount Fuji Radar System. There are many shopping areas throughout the mountain, which will offer you many souvenirs to take home with you. Other information about Mount Fuji you can find at this adress.

Cool Gift Shop

Nowadays it’s cool to be cool. The trend forces you to be hip and fit. Each and every person must have a cool group of people they could say they belong to no matter what.  The definition we are using here is that of cool meaning agreement. Something is cool with somebody and somebody is cool with something. It’s a form of spoken agreement or informal approval. You can use this adjective to describe a state of being, an object, a situation or a person. Something cool today may be old fashioned tomorrow, one object takes its place in the display and so on. Hand made today become the future cool mass produced of tomorrows.

When you enter a gift shop you think of buying an item that says cool, original and unique. It’s not that easy to combine these three qualities into only one item. Not every gift shop is up for this challenging task, the chosen ones are not hidden but they are harder to find.

A cool gift shop will carry only “on-the-wave” products. You know for sure that these items are hip and trendy. To be cool may change nuances from individual to individual and from generation to generation. For example, some teenagers will say that a rock band, a funny inscription, smoking or drinking beer is cool. For others to be cool means to have different tastes from the general population, from the mainstream.

At Cool Gift Store.com they understand what you’re talking about, they know exactly what you want to say. That is why the selection of Zippo products will make a great impression. The motto unfolds three ways: high quality products, gifts for all occasions and superior customer service. There is no way you could go wrong. Just make sure you fill the shopping cart with the products you like.

When you enter Cool Stuff Express.com an explosion of colors amaze your senses. It’s the first sign you’re on the right path. They pride to be your personal source of cool and unusual gifts. What started as a traditional retailer rapidly developed into a company promoting only cool and hip gifts. If you think that some of the products are geeky think again, they have another word for it: they call it passion. The list of reasons why you should buy from this cool gift shop is quite impressive and long. Start with the large collection of items; continue with a great customer service and end with reasonable prices and safe, fast shipping. Every order has a tracking record. When the coast is clear and the shopping cart is empty there is nothing standing in your way.

Cool gifts are not just fun. They could also be educational as well as practical. A gift is something you buy with your heart, it’s something you give expecting only a big smile and a nice thought.

Gift Shops In Roswell Nm

Roswell was a place in New Mexico like thousands of dusty little towns in the deserts of America, until July 1947, when it is supposed that the American military has discovered the debris of an unidentified flying object that had corpses of alien beings on board. It was supposed that these debris and the corpses were taken to Area 51, in the desert of Nevada.

The story broke out in the ’70, and has been ever since subject to terrible controversy and conspiracy theories. It is supposed that the government has made contact with alien intelligence and even developed technologies with the aid of these beings.

Never before had an idea captured the mind of people like the alleged existence of alien life in the Universe. In fact, the green men of Roswell became so famous, in spite of the fact that their existence has never been acknowledged, and the military went to great lengths to block at first, deny and eventually mocker the information, that a religion was created, called “ufology”, that promises salvation by means of alien abduction.

US military denied this existence of the alien entities on Earth by asserting that the alleged vessel was in fact a meteorological balloon that went down in Roswell. Some believed them, some didn’t. A few things don’t add up though. How did the green man image appear, if there was no entity at Roswell? Were they made up entirely? Conversely, is it not a little convenient that in spite of their eyes, the shape of their heads, the skinny tiny little limbs, they look humanoid? I mean, if the Universe is so vast and so inhabited shouldn’t diversity be a little more… diverse? You cannot make a being that looks almost human pass as alien from other galaxies.

The point is that, in spite of the huge turmoil Roswell created around aliens, their existence has never been proven as a fact. No one has seen an alien, we don’t know why are they here, why would they keep a low profile, when they can act as Deus ex machina (almost literally in this case)? Questions that are not likely to get answers any time soon.

Aliens or not, people of Roswell have the opportunity to come into the light spot. Consequently, a whole industry of gifts has developed, and thus gift shops can be found anywhere in these parts.

As you may guess, T-shirts with green men are a very coveted gift in these gift shops. For $20.00, you may buy a T-shirt with a very naughty alien. An alien golf towel with the same eye-blinking green man, costs $50.00.

If you want to take home your own green man, you can take it in a test tube slime. For $3.00 you may have an alien play putty. An inflatable alien costs $2.00. Pretty much unpleasant, ha? To travel galaxies for $2.00! For the same price you may buy a ship. A small one, because green men are small people themselves.

A mug costs $12.00, while a ceramic brandy glass costs $10.00. You can use them to welcome aliens to Earth. You never know these days!
